The Ten Outstanding Young Malaysians Award (TOYM) Programme originated from JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World (TOYP) Programme. Junior Chamber International Malaysia (JCIM) made the decision to include this Programme in its yearly project after launching it in 1985 to commemorate the International Year of the Youth. The objective of TOYM is to recognize young Malaysians who have demonstrated exceptional achievement through their profession, making significant contributions to the welfare of the community.
